The 2026 World Cup features 48 teams with matches June 11 to July 19, 2026. Competing in its 13th World Cup, Switzerland will be based in San Diego and will play in the group stage against Qatar in Santa Clara on June 13, a UEFA playoff winner in Los Angeles on June 18, and against co-host nation Canada in Vancouver.
